About Us

My name is Ezgi Deniz aka Chubado (My traditional Nigerian name from my Nigerian wedding). I have been living in Abuja since 2016. I am an Industrial Engineer who likes solving problems, optimizing systems and discovering opportunities.

My skincare journey started in an attempt to solve a problem and bridge a gap. We were trying to fulfill the need of a trustworthy, sustainable, genuine, natural skincare product manufacturer. During my university days, I worked in different companies that were involved in manufacturing, creating something from scratch really inspired me.

During my pregnancy to my first child I faced serious skin irritations I could not get effective, baby friendly skincare products. Therefore, I decided to combine my hand skills and the university knowledge (as an engineer) to create natural, aromatherapy skin care & self care products that I could use and keep my unborn child safe.

And thus Chubado Self Care was born.

CHUBADO is a natural self care and skincare brand that aims to be sustainable, eco-friendly and healthy.

CHUBADO is a Fulani name that means “chosen one” and it’s our founder’s traditional Nigerian name. She got it after her traditional Nigerian wedding.

We only use plant based, toxic free, fair trade, the best and highest quality ingredients safe for human & environment. We source our raw materials from trustworthy, well-known Turkish and Nigerian suppliers. We support women empowerment and majority of our suppliers and partners are women entrepreneurs.

Our products enhance your skin without changing its originality, bring out the best in your natural skin and give a natural glow.

We formulate all our products ourselves using high quality, cold pressed, therapeutic Nigerian and Turkish oils.

Our products are children friendly, suitable for men, women and pregnant women.
